Summary

In Summary we’ve talked about:

  • Criteria for tag points (WOOF).
  • Importance of selecting a specific tag point.
  • When starting – something easy that they can do.
  • Observation skills  – observe your child at all times, hone your ability to see that slightest twinge of body language.
  • To increase focus, make the task easier, increase the rate of reinforcement and/or use a better reinforcer.
  • Know when to stop  – when your child shows signs of agitation, slow down, take a break or make a change.
  • We’ve also talked about the TAGteach transition in thinking and how to move from emotion to behavior to observation.
