ABOUT IRITH
Irith Bloom has been training animals since the 1980s. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania, and more hours of continuing education in animal training and behavior than anyone could possibly ever need – but she’s an education junkie and can’t help herself!
Many years ago, Irith adapted her lessons to an online environment to help geographically distant clients. The online teaching skill set came in handy when Covid lockdowns started. Irith now recommends online training to all clients (local and distant). Her expertise in on-line training is extensive and sought after by the training community. Join us for a webinar in which Irith shares the skills that you need to teach effectively online.
Irith is a CPDT-KSA, a CBCC-KA, a CDBC, a KPA CTP, a VSPDT, and a CBATI. She is also faculty at both Victoria Stilwell Dog Training Academy and DogBiz’s Dog Walking Academy, and she's certified in TAGteach, a positive reinforcement method for teaching humans.
Irith is a regular speaker at seminars and industry conferences. She is on the board of the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT), and Chair Emeritus of the Education Committee of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT).
Irith also volunteers for National English Shepherd Rescue, the Los Angeles County 2020 Healthy Pets Healthy Families Coalition, and Wallis Annenberg PetSpace.
