OVERVIEW
Confidence, trusting relationship, discretionary effort, resilience - You can have these for your learners!
There are many models about the best way to coach, train, or teach people to improve skills and behaviours but do they need to be so complicated?
Here we look at why some models can have unwanted fallout, why focusing on positive reinforcement will get the best results and why we should do this. What skills do we need to do this and how do we change our focus, so we notice what behaviours we want rather than what we don't want?
This presentation will cover the simple process of coach, reinforce, coach, what this looks like, how we do it and the results of working this way.
Sticking with an unplanned and tenuous link to Tom Cruise films for his titles Tony takes a closer look at general coaching skills and feedback. Ultimately Coach. Reinforce. Coach. IS TAGteach and the reason why it is so effective as a teaching tool.
