The Solution
The solution to passion talking and information overload is to have 1 clear learning goal for each learning moment.
In TAGteach we call this learning goal a tag point.
We get to it by funnelling down all our knowledge into the one thing we want the student to achieve in the next learning moment.
We’re going to tell you about the 4 criteria for the perfect tag point, but first take a look at a video that demonstrates TAGteach in action.
I’m sure you’ll notice the difference between this video and the previous one:
Notice that there is almost no talking and that the learner hears a click sound marker to tell her when she has met the tag point.
She knows exactly what the goal is each trial and she knows immediately whether she succeeded.
