Homework 1-8

Choose something that you would like to teach your child. Make it something fun that the child will enjoy once he learns it. If your child is very delayed, choose something that will lead to the ability to play with toys, such as reaching or touching. Follow the example on the WOOF  Planning Sheet to figure out the tag points you will use to teach this skill. Try it!

Once you have taught something fun, use the WOOF Planning Sheet to some up with a plan to teach something from your list of labels. Choose one of the behaviors that you listed that goes with one of the negative labels. For example “she drops her dirty socks on the floor”. Phrase this in terms of a positive goal “put socks in the hamper”. Identify all the behaviors involved, come up with tag points and start tagging.
