seconds to give this child positive reinforcement. Every 3 seconds you can reinforce him, so 

that’s a pretty strong statement. 

Joan: Seany said 14 opportunities. The more we can reinforce, the better, right? 

Martha: Sometimes it’s a little tricky because the length of time that the child is quiet varies. 

They may only be quiet for a split moment, or they may be quiet for a whole second or a second 

and a half. It varies.
