Lesson: “When we get into the water with these whales, it is important that you don’t make sudden lurching moves towards them. They may think it is an aggressive move and you don’t have any reinforcement history with them that will counteract that. For you to have the best experience, follow this rule – keep your hand still, out in front of you and let the whale come to you. Then you can gently touch the top or melon portion of his head.”
Instructions: Keep your hand still, and let the whale come to you and then gently pet his melon.
