Tag Point Rule #1
What you want
The whole TAGteach approach is to focus on what you want instead of what you don’t want.
Working with the task, foot placement, from the volleyball example, where do you want the feet…exactly?
“Left foot at the 12 o’clock position and the right foot at the 2 o’clock position of an imaginary clock on the floor right behind the fault line. The right foot should be about a foot behind the left foot”
These are directions that explain what you want, so they satisfy the first tag point rule since the phrasing is in terms of “what you want”. This still needs a bit of of tweaking before becoming a good tag point.
