Transitions: School to Home

In our survey, several parents mentioned that they had issues with self-calming, regulation of unruly behavior and dealing with transitions from one activity to another.

I am going to talk about transitions, and I’d like to start with a situation we all deal with every day — the very important transition from School to Home – and how to use TAGteach to help your child feel supported and calm.

When children come home from school they may be tired, stressed, happy, or angry. It can be an emotionally tumultuous moment.

We have all heard of kids coming home and exploding because of their pent-up emotions.

Lots of behaviors can happen after school, some are productive, some are not!

We want our children to come home, feel relaxed, calm and supported.

How can we use TAGteach to achieve this?
