Correcting Errors
In TAGteach we don’t point out errors and correct them. We go by the 3-try rule:
In some cases you might regroup and reassess after one error if you can see that it’s just going to happen again.
The most common approaches to reducing errors include:
- introducing a target to give clarity to the goal
- breaking the skill down further and giving a new tag point
- returning to a point of success
Basically our error correction protocol is this:
